Freidheim Fellows are upperclassmen that concentrate their research study on a topic of great public importance that culminates in a year-end published paper. The Fellows receive a small stipend to cover the cost of an independent study course as well as expenses incurred during the course. Fellows also receive ongoing guidance for their research project from Senator LeMieux. The application process includes the submission of a research proposal, resume, and a letter of support for the research from a faculty mentor. Selection of the Fellows is based on the application and interview.
